• No it will not. In fact the charger is also a different connection from your iphone. making it more difficult, you cant even plug in your earphones while charging either.

• I have an iPhone 7 and yes it does work with your USB cable playing music. I also have the wireless charging dock made by Mophie and with your charging base plugged into the USB outlet and while your phone is on it and charging, plays music through your USB outlet! No Bluetooth!

• You will need to check with your car manual to determine if the USB port is configure for your sound system.
