A:Answer It does to a point. On higher end chips like the 3800X 3900X and 3950X the VRM may not be able to handle the OC and at that point you may want to bite the bullet and go X570. Lower end like the 3600, 3600X, and 3700X it should be able to handle a modest OC. Ryzen doesn't like to go beyond 4.3Ghz anyway.
