I have the same question and have not been able to find out a definitive answer. In their specs page for this configuration GE66 10UG-039 MSI just say "NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 Laptop GPU". That's the same thing they say for the 3060 and 3080 models of the GE66 and GS66 this year. In previous years, when their laptop was using Max-Q versions, their specs page would say so. But this year I don't find any mention of Max-Q on the specs pages for their 2021 RTX30 series machines. So I don't know if that means everything is using Max-P or their specs are just listed incomplete. I have seen a couple of you tubers and a couple of other retailers mention that some of the MSI models including GE66 are Max-Q but I have not seen any confirmation one way or the other. It's very disappointing that this information does not seem to be consistently available. I'm honestly not sure we will know until we either buy the machine and see, or if a tech reviewer is able to get one first and tell us. Anyway here is MSI's spec page: https://us.msi.com/Laptop/GE66-Raider-10UX/Specification
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They do not use "Max" branding anymore. MSI released the tgp for their 30 series laptops and this one is maxed out at 115w. Which as I understand it, one of the higher tgp of the 3070 gpu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Max P is not an official term from NVidia the GPU is the full 130w variant however the only way to use the gpu at that power is by going into dragon center and selecting Discreet Graphics which will direct connect the 3070 to the screen and disable the on board... be sure to switch back when done because the battery will only last an hour at best in that mode
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have read it is "max p"

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For Nvidia 3000 series you will not find any description Max Q or Max P and which makes it hard to compare the difference between models. You have to search for power wattage used by the graphics cards. cards that use 80 - 115 would be Max Q and cards that use 120 - 150 would be Max P.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.https://us.msi.com/Laptop/GE66-Raider-10UX/Specification "NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 Laptop GPU Up to 1660MHz Boost Clock, 130W Maximum Graphics Power with Dynamic Boost. " 3070 Max-p has boost clock of 1620 MHz and TGP of 115W. So, this is a slightly OC max-p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.10UG-039 is this version Max-P, the Stealth version is Max Q and ~30% weaker. This one (Raider), GPU can be overclocked. https://us.msi.com/Laptop/GE66-Raider-10UX/Specification
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a raider . 30% faster .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dunno what you mean by max w but it is not max q. Has a 230w brick and is awesome.
