However if you are expecting to connect multiple devices, such as cellphones, TVs and Amazon devices. This will not fulfill your needs by itself. You will need a router and wifi access point. Router & wifi can come in combo devices such as this device Linksys - Max Stream Ax1800 Model: MR7350.

• A:Answer This modem requires a CAT5 IP Cable connection. It does not have a WI FI transmitter built in. Your router may provide that functionality, many do. I am not familiar with Sparklight, but generally if the input from your ISP comes over a coax cable, I would think it is likely that this will work. Why not ask them?
