• I purchased with the same need and was told yes by a rep, I wasn't convinced because she didn't sound 100% certain, but it does support both. You can turn on monitor mode in your terminal. dif command depending on what youre running but a simple search should provide it easily

• For anyone else looking for this question. Yes, it a 100% supports monitor mode and packet injection. I'm currently using Kali Linux in VM and as long as you set up your USB controller right and configure proper settings/ run right commands etc., it will work. I didn't have to tweak anything, and I hope this provides reassurance.
