A:AnswerI purchased with the same need and was told yes by a rep, I wasn't convinced because she didn't sound 100% certain, but it does support both. You can turn on monitor mode in your terminal. dif command depending on what youre running but a simple search should provide it easily
A:AnswerYes, I just picked this up for my PC and it works great for connecting to my wireless router. Make sure to plug it into the blue USB port on the PC if you have one for maximum speed, but that is not required to use it.
A:AnswerAs long as your computer has a usb port you just plug the adapter in and it will find the wifi for you and your computer will have internet access. Good luck to you
A:AnswerHmmm ... I had to think about that one. The adapter usually picks up what your wireless router has stored, and is transmitting. Used in that way it will pick up many of your neighbors signal, however their signal maybe protected. Used as a repeater or extender I can't say; only that this adapter has the longest range that I have ever witnessed or seen.
A:AnswerIt most definitely will. That's exactly what I used mine for. The difference being I had a PC that didn't have WiFi. I used the hotspot from my iPhone for internet connection until I got a home network setup.
A:AnswerYes, this connects to 5GHz as well.
It worked for me . Both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz it connects.
I was able to get around 800Mbps speed . which is awesome.
A:Answeronly the optional Epson 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module will work. Other modules are not compatible.
Note: The wireless LAN module is not included with the projector. You can purchase the wireless LAN module (part number V12H731P02) from the Epson Store.
Directly from their site. Hope this helps :)
A:AnswerYes, I had the same issue after installing the software. I just didn’t bother with it and went directly to the computers adapter setting, turned on my WiFi, found my network and done.
A:Answeryes, it is backward compatible. 2.5GHz and 5GHz will work with both USB 2.0 and 3.0.
2.0 can only get a max speed of 480 MBps, you'll have to use 3.0 if you want to take full advantage of the speed of this adapter
