“I plan on using the USB wifi adapter on a PC with Windows 7. Will the adapter pickup a "hot spot" signal from an iPhone or iPad? The PC had a built in NIC/w wifi we would connect to. It stopped working and troubleshooting points to a bad NIC.”

• It most definitely will. That's exactly what I used mine for. The difference being I had a PC that didn't have WiFi. I used the hotspot from my iPhone for internet connection until I got a home network setup.

• Hi, it should be able to connect to your hotspot from the iphone or ipad. Just install the software that comes with the wifi dongle and use it to connect to your hotspot.
