• As long as your computer has a usb port you just plug the adapter in and it will find the wifi for you and your computer will have internet access. Good luck to you

• Yes, as long as you have a USB port to plug it into. A USB 3.0 port is needed for the fastest speed if you are connecting to an 802.11ac Router/Access Point.

• If you subscribe to a wi-fi carrier then you need a USB wi-fi adapter that plugs into your computer to get a wi-fi signal, this adapter is if your wi-fi router/modem signal is not reaching your computer and you can't get the wi-fi to work on your computer. With this adapter your computer will be able to extend the modem/router wi-fi reach, but remember you still need a USB wi-fi adapter to get the wi-fi signal first.

• Good question, my PC has wireless, but I wanted faster. My pc's wireless isn't use, Netgear wireless is, I believe it will be a great addition to yours

• Yes. It did for mines. Desktop is Windows Vista without wireless adapter. Plugged it in; the adapter installed and found wireless signals instantly. Because of the older Vista and 32-bit, the 2.4 g was best suited for my computer. It took the 5.0 signal, but slowed PC down quite a bit.
