Yes it works fine. The speed depreciated a little...and yet I can stream video and other large downloads with ease. The software makes it pretty easy to connect to the comcast router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will but know this. The WiFi electronics built into the Comcast or Xfinity router is very weak to start with. So that signal is not great and what I did was connect this NetGear AC750 in my upstairs so it could extend the weak signal from the Comcast router. If you are not sure of what I am saying Google Comcast Wifi router and see what is being said out there about these devices. I went to Comcast and got their newest model and still the WiFi is very weak unless you are in close proximity to the device. Good Luck....

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the extender can be used with COMCAST, which is what I used it for. I have a poor quality cable modem/router combo unit from COMCAST that had a wifi range of about 5 feet. I used this extender to get wifi to the other floors of my 2 story house and into my basement. It was successful in doing that. I do have some connection issues with some devices, and some bandwidth issues, but I believe that is caused by the COMCAST device.

Please try again later.It will boost the signal strength of the signal put out by the router; it doesn't matter which internet service connects to the modem which then connects to the router. It can handle all the wifi signals: 802.11 a or b or g or n or ac. When you use it, put it somewhere between the router and the device, such as a computer or smartphone, that needs a stronger signal than it is currently getting. If it doesn't seem to be helping, try moving the range extender to a different location.
