I just went through something g similar here. I had a router go out and recently replaced it with a few that were rather expensive from Motorola ASIs as well as D-Link only to find that the range was very limited me they were both plagued with constant and consistent drop outs. I too choose the Nether Nighthawk R8000 and couldn't be happier! Great range, no drop outs, blazing fast throughput in both the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands not to mention I more than tripled my range of coverage area.....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.May not be a router issue. I hear satellite internet is still very unstable and also they do not allow a lot of data usage; something like only 50 gigs a month which in this day and age most people blow thru in a day some heavy users would go thru that in an hour an once you do reach the allotment allowed your net speed slows to a crawl as slow as dialup.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any router will work well with your service provider but will only go as fast as your internet subscription. Otherwise the In house service will be pretty quick as this router is pretty robust and should support your needs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My best advice is to try and get T1 service if at all possible :) T1 signals will go MUCH farther than DSL and you wont have the horrible EXTREME ping times inherent with SATNET. T1 service can be a bit pricey due it being business grade...but its well worth the cost. It is sent over phone lines btw! :D T1 lines were the backbone for ARPANET long ago... before it became public and the modern web.
