• While the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens will fit the mount of the Nikon D3100 DSLR camera, it is not compatible and will not work. Fully compatible lens types for this camera model are AF-S and E-type lenses. For a comparable and compatible wide-angle lens check out the AF-S DX AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Ultra-Wide Zoom or the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom. AI and AF-type lenses can also be used with this camera model but will have some limitations.
