No. The Nikon D7000 DSLR camera is not compatible with AF-P lenses. Compatible lens types that can be used fully with this camera body are AI, AF, AF-S and newer E-type lenses. For something similar in angle and range check out the Nikon AF-S Zoom NIKKOR 17-35mm f/2.8D. Another great choice for a wide-angle lens would be the Nikon AF-S 28mm f/1.4 E, which has a super fast aperture, making it an excellent prime lens for low light situations.
