• Vibration control is available when using the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR lens with the Nikon D7500 DSLR model. To switch the VR "on" or "off" you would access the Optical VR option D9 (when lens is attached) in the Custom Settings Menu. This option is not available with all DSLR camera models. • I looked at the manual for the lens and the option to turn off VR in a camera menu only applied when in movie mode, not for stills.

• You have to go to the camera menu and find to turn off the VR Hope this will help with your question
