A:Answer Short answer is yes, but based on details given in the question there is more to consider. Sounds like you’re going to be using your DSLR for video. If this is the case, you should look into one of Canon’s DSLRs or Sony’s mirrorless cameras. Both handle video incredibly well. If your budget is sub $800, the Canon T7i would be a better option because the focusing system is much better. I love Nikon, and shoot with an D850 and D7500, and a lot of glass to go with those bodies. If you wait, and save a little more, buying a camera in the +$1100 range will open up a lot of options. You also want to make sure whichever camera you go with, you get a suitable prime lens for video. Again, does the Nikon D5600 have the capabilities? Sure. Is it the best in class and price category for video? No.
