- Answer Either, but it is designed to work with a reusable filter (included with purchase). Using a paper filter can cause it to overflow.

QuestionOkay what am I doing wrong. After my coffee brews ( I usually brew two cups). By the time I get back from my second cup the yellow light is off and the coffee pot has cooled down. How do I adjust the amount of time that my coffee pot stays warm?

- Answer Hello JimU, We are happy to assist you with your inquiry about the Ninja® 12-Cup Coffee Maker. The warming plate is pre-programmed to stay on for 2 hours from the start of the brew. This can be lengthened up to 4 hours. To change the length of time the warming plate stays on, press and hold the "Stay Warm" button until the clock flashes. Quickly press the hour (H) or minute (M) buttons to adjust it to the preferred time. To lock in the time, press the "Stay Warm" button again. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

QuestionI like my coffee HOT and and good cup should brew at around 195-205, does anyone know what the average temperature is on this one? All of the reviews sound great so far. I have been looking for about a week and need to buy one before the xmas rush.

QuestionIf I set the delay brew to 5 am as that is what time I want my coffee to brew every morning. Will it hold the 5am time so that I just need to press delay brew each day or do I have to reset the delay brew time to 5am each day ?

- Answer There is a stay warm switch that will keep the coffee hot for two hours. You can push it again before the two hours are up to extend it another two hours.

- Answer this is because you have a gfc outlet with the ground improperly installed. in most cases this is what it is. Other than that see the manufacture. Some times appliance loads on the same circuit with a natural line failure can cause the appliance natural line to heat up.

QuestionI dropped and broke the carafe. Finding a replacement is proving to be difficult. Ninja is out of stock with no restock estimate. So... am I out of luck? Do I need to buy a whole new machine? I love the coffeemaker but this is frustrating. Any advice?

- Answer Yes - you can program it for between 2 and 4 hours. Press and hold the stay warm button until the numbers start flashing- it should say 2:00 - press the H button to adjust the number of hours you would like it to operate before turning off. Wait for the numbers to stop flashing and your changes are saved.

QuestionMy ninja cfp300 coffee maker will not brew. It displays clean so we've cleaned it several times. On the clear water rinse, it displays add water. There is clearly enough water in the reservoir. We have cleaned everything we could. Still displays clean.
