A:AnswerHad to press the iFit button for about 30 sec then unplug the machine for 5 min, then after plugging back in, hold the iFit button down again until the zeros appear
A:AnswerIt's not too difficult, just a few screws; however, it is a bit heavy and requires you to balance the screen while installing, so it's a bit awkward. You may want to download the owner's manual from NordicTrack and review the assembly instructions for more details.
A:AnswerLaid out it is about 7-ft long, 2-ft wide, and (depending on the height of the screen) 3-ft to 3-ft 6-in tall. Folded up it is about 3-ft long, 2-ft wide, and 3-ft 7-in tall.
A:AnswerI would use a mat. I have mine in garage without one, but with sweat dripping, I think the area rug would get gross. The rower itself is Heavy and with use. I imagine it would damage a rug. If I were to bring the rower inside, I would definitely use a mat
A:AnswerThis comes in a large (and heavy) box that I could not imagine fitting in a car. I would suggest having it delivered, if possible. It is worth purchasing. I love mine!

The distance mode indeed shows meters you have rowed during your workout.

A:AnswerThe Rower does fold in half, fairly easy at that. The length dimensions I can't tell you off hand but roughly, when place in storage position it takes up about a 2x2x2 sq ft of space. Currently I have mine in a small room downstairs and it does not take up that much room at all.
