I sent in a question concerning not being able to change the resistance to my RW200 Rower regardless of what setting it is set on. Your reply said - not sure if you realize to change the tension of the wheel you move it back and forth to adjust the tension. The numbers should be on the side. I tried this and it makes no difference what setting it is on. Everything seems to be working properly except the tension does not change regardless what setting it is on. The Rower is for my wife and she can barely use is because the tension is set way to high. I have tried it and regardless what setting it is on it stays the same. Thanks, David
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The magnet to wheel design is totally flawed. There is NO resistance change at any setting digitally and an imperceptible increase if you close the fan cover. GIANT COVERUP. You need to remove the entire wheel cover and adjust the two nuts to push the magnet closer to the wheel. It’s simple but clearly NordicTrack doesn’t want to reveal this huge lie.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nordik Track Rowers are the worst in the market. Do NOT buy. Do NOT purchase. Just look online at the resistance issues reported on their rowers. Major let down and the magnetic resistance is a flawed design they've chosen to sweep under the rug as another user noted. I was going to go all in on their machines but they're mainly marketing hype with a good marketing spend and poor customer service, with no willingness to correct or recall any major issues with their products. I will no longer purchase anything from them sadly. I good quality and reputabñe customer service. The RW900 is useless with very poor resistance.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.David You can adjust the resistance both digitally and manually. First, adjust the resistance digitally, by pressing the Silent Magnetic Resistance increase and decrease buttons on the console (user manual page 14). Then, fine-tune the resistance manually, by moving the Resistance Handle. This handle is located on the flywheel just above your row bar's strap. To increase the resistance, push the Resistance Handle toward the front of the rower; to decrease the resistance, pull the Resistance Handle toward the rear of the rower.
