Yes. I have a Panasonic 3 handset DECT cordless phone system, and they work the same as when I had them through Comcast. Easy set-up. You don't need Ooma linx either which is what I had wondered. The DECT works the same as it did before - the handsets are all synced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I believe they would. I have a Vtech system with multiple handsets and there are a couple of ways of connecting it. 1. The most straight-forward approach is to just connect your Vtech base unit to the Ooma device. 2. The other way (which is what I did) is to connect the Ooma device to one of the wired phone jacks in the house and that makes all the wired phone jacks live. Doing it this way allows you to plug in the base unit (or any phone) into an available phone jack. CAUTION: You must make sure that nothing is connected to your wired phone lines even if you don't have an active account with the phone company. The previous owners of our house had Centurylink phone service which we did not re-activate. Evidently, the phone company was still sending a signal across the phone line, so I had to go to the box on the outside of the house and flip the switch off physically to make this work (the box had a plastic cover and a light switch type connection inside.)
