Yes, you can port with AT&T. There are very easy instructions that come with the equipment. AT&T is a little difficult getting to the correct person but I only had to call regarding verifying everything was done. I got a misleading email stating services were disconnected before the number was ported which caused a little concern but I called and made sure the number was still active until the port was completed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The number can be ported if you have not cancelled it yet. I ported my number from Spectrum and it only took about 3 or 4 days. There is a $40 fee to port the number which Ooma doesn't mention until you actually are in the process of porting.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My previous landline carrier was MagicJack and I had 1 (805) 964-5247 as my number. I missed many calls with MagicJack and my contract was coming due. I decided to change. I went to Best Buy and tried to get Vonage equipment. The salesperson told me that the Goleta store was either out of Vonage or that Best Buy does not carry it. He recommended OOMA as being far superior. I bought the OOMA kit and have had very little success, Lack of human contact is a major cause. I thought I was given a number (1 (805) 259-4400 and was later told it was incorrect - the correct number being 1 (805) 259-6450. This may have been my mistake but a verification email from OOMA would have solved that. I know positively that I gave my credit card number to port my previous number from MagicJack, 1 (805) 964-5247, to my new phone. Again, I have no records from OOMA but their rep has a minute by minute written accounting (this misses the porting). I asked to discuss this matter with the OOMA CEO, but was denied. Again I had no human contact at the time or an email confirmation from OOMA. Your customer is forced to accept the situation. It will be remembered.
