QuestionHow do I get the message "VOICEMAIL MSG VIA PHONE CO" off of the phone? It used to show the date and time but changed to this message. I do not have voicemail through my phone company. thank you

- Answer I have the same problem and just found the answer; it was from a "Panasonic Help" video on the internet. IT IS NOT A PHONE COMPANY PROBLEM! The fix: hold the # button until you hear a couple of beeps. Simple, but it works.

QuestionI just ordered this white cordless phone system for my elderly mother. Just want to make sure it has the talking digits that I was told and announces who is calling. can she adjust volume so that OTHER people who are hard of hearing can hear her?

- Answer Yes on both points. It will announce the name of the person calling as long as a name pops up and is available. And the volume is adjustable and can be set loud enough.

- Answer Yes. Once use push it and verify that you want the call blocked all you will hear in the future from that number is one ring and the message on the screen will tell you that it is from a blocked number.

- Answer Yes it does. My old system didn't do that and it might be days before I noticed that I had a message -- not so anymore -- one of the things I loe about this system!

- Answer Hi Angie, When on a call, you'll hear a tone if a 2nd call is coming in. If you have the Caller ID and Call Waiting features in your phone service, you'll also see the name and number on the handset screen. If you want to put the current call on hold and answer the 2nd call, simply press the "Flash/Call Wait" button in the lower right corner of the handset. When done with the call, you can press "Flash/Call Wait" again to go back to the 1st call. If for some reason the 1st caller wants to disconnect, do not press "Off" to end the call. Just say goodbye and press "Flash/Call Wait." The 1st call will disconnect when they hang up and you will be switched to the 2nd call. FYI, this info is available on page 14 of the manual if you have it. Good Luck, Rob K.

- Answer Yes, there is volume control on the handset, but we’d also recommend you the TGM420W as it has loud and clear with Volume Boost control for amplified caller voice volume up to 40 dB, includes six voice Tone Settings and a loud base unit Ringer.

- Answer Each handset has the ability to be totally silent when calls are received (you can set start and stop time). If not silent, you can hear rings and also listen to each message being left by a caller like you hear at the base. If silent, and you know a message is being left at the base (the silent handset will say this on the display), you can click speakerphone or call, and then listen in. You can also use the hand set to listen to previously recorded voicemail left. The handsets really have all functionality of the base, or you can make it silent. To hear a message as it is being left by the caller, you have to turn on call screening.
