“Is there a way to have the hue lights turn on automatically when the sync box turns on with the TV? Or is it always through the Hue App that the lights are turned on?”

• So far, I have not figured out a way to do that. I have my box boot up when the Tv turns on so I can still view the screen but I have not had it start syncing on the lights at startup. I'm sure there is an Alexa skill that boots it all up at once.

• The Hue Sync app (it has it's own app) allows you to set which of the HDMI ports start to sync automatically.
