- Answer I ordered mine on Nov 20 with an expected ship date of Dec 3rd. Now they're telling me it's been delayed and if it doesn't ship by Jan 3rd they'll cancel the order. It looks like Philips just didn't produce enough for the demand. I don't mind waiting, but it doesn't seem like Best Buy has any clue as to when they'll receive more lights. Not really understanding why they say they'll auto cancel the order if it doesn't ship by Jan 3rd though. It's a Best Buy exclusive item, it's not as if I can go buy them somewhere else.

- Answer Yes to work on your TV, you need both the hub and the Sync Play box. It will only work with HDMI feed. You can use an Apple TV, Roku stick, FireTv etc. to get the benefit on the play box. It will not work with smart Tv apps, because they signal needs to be fed through the sync box to recognize the data. They however will work on a computer, with windows and MAC without the Play sync box. There is an app to download and will work with movies, gaming, music etc on your PC.

- Answer The individual cords are over 6ft each, so it will depend on where your outlet is located. The power receptacle can power 3 lights even though the kit only comes with 2. The only other thing you'll want (don't think you need to run the lights) to add is the Philips Hue bridge which connects up to 50 different lights within your house that you can control in the app and can turn on and off from anywhere. Works great with Alexa or Google Home as you can set up different voice-activated controls ie ok google its movie time and the lights will turn on.

- Answer I don't think you'll like the brightness. They get bright, but reflecting off walls makes the light dull or dim. Ok for ambience but that's it really.

- Answer I got them out of the box and tried to use the Bluetooth app.... they are not bluetooth so I had to get the hue bridge. Then it finally worked. I honestly think buying the bridge was worth it. I love these and if I want more I can just connect them to the bridge. (I have no hue light bulbs) I say they shouldn't go out (no bulbs added in box) Just don't drop them or get them wet.

- Answer For the average sized living room I would say no. For a small bedroom, possibly. My medium sized living room, I have 3 play bars and 4 regular bulbs. These are better suited for accent lighting in a room.

- Answer Phil, You will need a bridge to use any HUE lights. they don't have any on or off button on the lights themselves. But i still recommend them

- Answer Should be okay. If youre going to do that, make sure you go into your bulb settings and change the "behavior when power is reconnected" or whatever. You can have it go back to its previous state, stay off, or set to a particular color. I would probably say set to previous state.

- Answer Yes. It had a mounting stand but you need to drill to wood and lay it on an angle because the cable plugs directly behind it. Laying it down would bend the cable.
