Check your TV audio output ports (left and right channels) to see if they are RCA type (the original style of the ports to accommodate RCA cable). Then run RCA cables from your TV to your receiver. If you have HDMI only TV outputs, the RCA connections won’t be compatible with your TV. If you’re not familiar with RCA cables, look it up on line. Once you see them I’m sure you’ll recognize them. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You cannot switch video. Video from cable box and DVD player and streaming box must be selected by the TV. Audio from cable box DVR, DVD player and streaming box can be switched in Pioneer stereo receiver so that audio plays through your speakers. You will want to mute the speakers built into your TV by going to TV settings and muting internal speakers. Audio should only come from stereo speakers.
