They are fabulous speakers for an apartment or office. The bass is much better than you would image. Very clear crisp sound. Better than my old Bose at half the price.

I use mine in the kitchen to listen to radio news, video sound, or music while cooking, but for enjoying music I have another sound system in my livingroom with better Polk speakers from the s series.

Hooked up through an Onkyo Amp using a CD player and cassette player. My sub woofer helps greatly, so, not a bad purchase but a definitely underpowered as a stand alone set of speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These are great smaller speakers. They fill a small room great. However they are not going to shake the house. The size of the woofer will not produce super deep bass. Depends on the volume you are looking for and the quality of the system feeding them. These are great sounding and pretty accurate sounding. Can always add a powered subwoofer if bass isn't enough.
