“Does this dispenser have a loud hum when the condenser coils are cooling the water (not when dispensing the water)? I am renting a dispenser from my water company and it makes an obnoxious hum when the condenser is cooling the water.”

It has a super loud hum. Louder than my freezer box and fridge. Quite annoying actually. I'm actually returning mine because of it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually, when there is a loud hum, it is because of the way the hose lays on the bottle. To resolve the issue you would need to dispense water so it begins to pump, and then stop dispensing and open the door. You can usually see the hose vibrating against the bottle. Just reposition the probe, and that typically fixes it.
