Hello LivePicture, Great question! No, the Ring Indoor Camera will not provide continuous live video without doing anything. The Ring Indoor Camera offers Live View, which lets you stream real-time video from your Ring doorbells and security cameras on the Ring app or on Ring.com. You must manually activate Live View, and it will automatically turn off after 10 minutes, or sooner if you manually end it. This article will provide more information: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/208144516-Using-Live-View. Not everything important that happens in front of your cam or video doorbell will trigger a notification. With an active Ring Protect Plan, you can activate Snapshot Capture, an app feature that takes snapshots at certain intervals, for when you are not actively watching Live View. This allows you to review what’s happened in front of your devices in between events. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to open the Ring app and choose this camera then hit live. It will continue a live feed as long as you have it open in the app i do believe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, stays on live view and records movement just like the ring doorbell. Its about 30 dollars a year, but nice to have them record on their server, in case you need to look back. We like it, use it to watch activity at an elderly parents home. Did Myq wifi door opener to see that the garage door is closed, too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can watch continuously but, doing so helps run your battery dead quicker. I have only had it a few weeks and I like it. Hope this helps.
