Hi Ken. Good question. The solar panel is designed to be installed on a flat surface. You should select an installation location within 13 feet of your floodlight that can get direct sunlight. If installing on a masonry surface, first drill holes using a 3/16" drill bit. Insert the wall anchors before inserting the screws. Visit our support center for additional details. Please try again later.You can, but if you are not that handy/creative or wanted it to look professionally installed, you may want to buy the special gutter install bracket. I have mine by the gutter but not actually attached to the gutter. I installed it below the gutter where a wood stud is present.
