A:AnswerYes, will work with roku tv with HDMI. You can use it as a soundbar with the tv interface, or if your TV is older use the soundbar as the roku interface.
A:AnswerYes, you can. If your TV supports ARC on HDMI, you can use one HDMI cable for both video and audio. But if it doesn't, no problem, setup using HDMI to get video from the soundbar, and connect optical from your TV to the soundbar. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerThe roku remote included with the bar controls my 3 year old samsung 8000 power on/off and the bar's volume control like a champ. Where previously I used the samsung remote for power, yamaha remote for their sound bar and roku stick remote for channels, that non-sense is now handled by one roku remote. The sound bar comes with optical and hdmi/arc cables for which i used the arc tv input, can't say if optical would work the same for volume control. gl
A:AnswerIt is a powered sound bar so yes. There is no need for a receiver.
Additionally, you have to option to add powered rear speakers and a powered sub-woofer using a wireless connection.
A:AnswerYes, it does. Provided you have a 4K TV and fast internet speed. For example, Netflix suggests a speed of 25mbps for a smooth 4K streaming experience. If your internet speed isn't fast enough, the video stream is usually downscaled to 1080p or 720p.
A:AnswerNot only do you need an HDMI cable, but it needs to meet the latest HDMI spec (otherwise HDCP errors are likely). The soundbar claims to support Bluetooth but in my installation the Bluetooth did not work at all.
A:AnswerYes, it will. It will play whatever audio is fed to it from the TV (either thru HDMI ARC or optical connection. My soundbar is connected to a TV that has no Internet connection.
A:AnswerA:Hi! You can still use the Roku - 2.0-Channel Smart Soundbar on an older TV with a standard HDMI port and no optical audio out port .However the Roku Smart Soundbar will only output audio from what is being streamed from the Roku Smart Soundbar itself in that scenario. If you want to have TV Audio carried down to your Roku Smart Soundbar you will need to connect an optical cable to your TV's optical output. For additional information on setting up your Roku® Smart Soundbar take a look at the link here: https://support.roku.com/article/360035580913
A:AnswerIt works fine on an older 48" Vizio model. Probably the same age, if not a year or two older. If you have an hdmi (arc) or an hdmi (not arc) with optical port it should work. With the hdmi arc you don't need the optical cable. Coax cable will not work. The hdmi and optical cables are included in the package.
A:AnswerIf you are using Spectrum devices for your spectrum services then yes. But you can switch to Spectrum streaming thru the ROKU and access DVR services. If you have Spectrum devices, you are paying for rental of those devices. Better to stream and return the devices to Spectrum and save some money on the service.

A:AnswerYES. I bought the soundbar and used my Ultra remote with it and now I have a remote that I can plug earplugs in. Just went on line to see how to pair and it was easy. So basically I swapped remotes
A:AnswerHi, Inquisitor! The Roku Smart Soundbar does not come with a rechargeable remote. However the new Roku Voice Remote is rechargeable and is compatible with the Roku Smart Soundbar. When using private listening and watching content encoded in 5.1 channel the audio will be sent through your headphones and decoded to the supported format.
