No option to power off but it shuts itself off after a while.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your Roku is always on to do updates and to be on standby. The only way to turn the device off is to unplug the power from the outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You go back to the home screen and turn your TV off. The roku will shut off after a few minutes of inactivity. You have to be in the home screen though. I've left Netflix open, shut my TV off, and when I come back it's still on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no on and off button. The player will go off after you switch from player to TV or another setting on your TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi...The Roku is always on and becomes active when you use the remote
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I need to un able ROKU
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roku 2 does not have a power button. It will go to "sleep" by itself after a certain amount of non-use time. If you want to turn it off, you will need to plug it into a switch of some kind (like a power strip).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are right, there is no physical or internal power switch. The unit, if you leave the remote alone or turn off the TV will "sleep" after a certain amount of time. Not perfect, but it reduces power consumption and heat generation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think you can. I just unplug mine since I'll come back hours after being at work and it's still on where I left it when I cut the TV on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't. When you turn on your TV you have to turn ROKU ON. So, if you don't want it on, don't use the Roku remote. Use regular TV remote to adjust channel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
