Not sure about the Sonos sound bar, but worked with my optical cord connected sound bar, with no prob.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In a way yes, and in a way no. If you plug the Roku in and the Sonos to the TV - sound will pass from the Roku to the TV and then to the Sonos. For either sound bar (I have both) from Sonos, you want to make sure your TV has optical out (almost all do these days). So, the two don't talk directly, but the end result will be the same. Can't praise Sonos and Roku enough. Both area great brands who stand behind their products.
