“Is the grilling element removable? Does it get in the way?”

• Hi santphea! The grill heating element is built into the microwave and cannot be removed. However, the grill rack (that food is set on when using the grill feature) is removable and should only be used when using the grill option. ^Jecca

• The grill element is in the top of the unit and does not get in the way of microwaving IMO. There is a round rack to bring the item up to the level of the grilling element.
