I have a counter along the left side of my refrigerator. The main box of the refrigerator takes up 26" of space from the wall and this clears the space needed for the doors to open wide. The measure below the doors is 35." If your counter top is above 35" the refrigerator doors cannot clear a counter top that is wider than 27"; if you slide the unit all the way to the wall. This should not be a problem, because the doors should extend outside of a flush counter top and look great. My unit is installed this way and I like it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, not a standard height countertop. We have a counter to the left and it's not a problem opening the doors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our top door on the left did not clear the countertop, but pulling the refrigerator out just a little relieved the problem (it still sits far enough back into the opening that we don't notice the adjustment).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The measurement is about 35 inches. ^Heath
