QuestionDoes the Ice Maker have to be installed?

- Answer Hi Frankie514! The ice maker on this model is actually built in to the frame of the refrigerator and only the ice bucket can be removed. However, if you do not wish to use the ice maker, you can turn it off using the ice maker button on the control panel. ^Jecca

QuestionFor the regular stainless steel option does this have the fingerprint plastic covering? I don't want the coating as it looks not great when it gets scratched then peels by actually living real life with it.

- Answer Thanks for asking, HuskieJohn! This model is not listed as having the fingerprint resistant coating. Generally, any Samsung model that does have this coating will have the color listed as "fingerprint resistant stainless steel". ^Jecca

QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the refrigerator shelves?

- Answer The shelves on the refrigerator side are 17 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches deep. The shelves on the freezer side are 11 3/4 wide by 10 1/2 inches deep. Hope this helps!

QuestionWhy the missing bin on the bottom of freezer door? It has the tabs for it, but no bin included. The other bins there can't be used because they're too deep. Fridge side has the bin? Is this an "accessory" purchase? (and if so, why isn't it included?)

QuestionVery unhappy with this item and considering returning. Our vegetables wilt or go bad almost immediately drawers. It seems the drawers are not actual crispers and not able to control at all but I can’t find any info even in manual. Please advise.

QuestionAnyone received the frig with ALL door bins; 4 freezer and 4 larger frig bins crack on both shorter sides. Came well packaged and plastic wrapped on bins.

- Answer Yes, when my refrigerator was installed all of the bins were okay. If they were cracked of damaged, my wife would have had a fit. This unit works great, and I've had no problems.

QuestionModel RS23A500ASR Booklet received with the refrigerator indicates that it has 2 freezer drawers as well as an egg container. Mine only has one freezer drawer on the bottom and no egg container.
