Q: QuestionDoes the Fridge have a speaker?In your answer to the question what warrents the $500 price increase you responded with this "The Apps that come pre-loaded are ideally suited for the kitchen: search for recipes on Epicurious or view photos from a memory card or your online Picasa photo album; check the day's weather through WeatherBug, the latest news headlines on AP News, or your family's schedule from Google Calendar; follow your favorites on Twitter or listen to them on Pandora Radio;" You included Pandora Radio as on of the apps you could lsiten to. So if you can use Pandora Radio on the fridge does this mean there is some sort of built in speaker in the fridge or if not then what exactly did you mean on how one could listen to Pandora Radio with the Fridge?

Q: QuestionIs this model able to support magnets?Does this model of stainless steel support typical refrigerator magnets or do we need to wait until the Platinum version comes out. If the answer is wait, then for how long?

• A:Answer This is true stainless so it's not magnetic. You can put magnets on the side though.

Q: QuestionCan you get more Apps for the Fridge, if so where?Can you get more apps for the Fridge if so from where? And you can download them directly with the built in wi fi or do you need to download them to a flash drive and then upload them with the flash drive to the fridge?

• A:Answer At this point in time the only available apps for the RF4289 are those that come pre-loaded: Memo, Epicurious Recipes, Picasa Photos, WeatherBug, Calendar, AP News, Pandora and Twitter. However, it is possible that more could be made available in the future, at which time it will be determined which of the available tools (WiFi, SD card, etc.) would be used to access them. Q: QuestionDoes this fridge have the option of adding external speakersI noticed that you said earlier that this fridge has its own speaker to be able to listen to pandora and other apps. Is it possible to add an external set of speakers for better quality audio or perhaps louder volumes (i.e. for the hearing impaired or a noisy or large room).

• A:Answer The Apps that have been included initially in the RF4289 LCD display with WiFi were chosen and developed specifically for their usefulness in the kitchen, allowing for activities like searching for recipes, weather, news and tweets, displaying notes and photos, checking the family's schedule and listening to music. Though no additional Apps or options such as browsing the web are available at this time, the display does feature the ability to be updated if other options do become available in the future. • A:Answer To switch from Crushed to Cubed ice on your RF4289HARS, touch the dispenser status icon on the home screen. When Cubed Ice is selected after using the Crushed ice feature, a small amount of residual crushed ice might be produced - this is normal. • A:Answer Look under the area where you get ice and water, there is a hole there. You need to straighten a paper clip and push it in that hole to reset.

Q: QuestionSend data from Samsung RF4289HARS to Samsung smart phone?Can you download/send the memos and/or shopping lists from the LCD screen on the refrigerator to a samsung smart phone? I read on another site that Samsung only allows data 'in' but not 'out' of the LCD screen/apps (but can not confirm this). It would make sense that the refrigerator should be able to send things to my smart phone thru the wi-fi connection, but I have not seen anything specific indicating that it can or can not. Thank you for any information!

Q: Questionhow do you turn the ice back on

• A:Answer The instructions for turning the ice maker on and off are on page 63 of the operating manual. The instructions are confusing because they use a double negative for the control. You turn the ice maker on by using the settings on the display. On the first page of the settings screen the 5th item says "ICE MAKING OFF" and to the right you will see a button that says on/off. Press the OFF side - this will turn the ice maker on. If the ON button is highlighted in yellow, that means the ice maker is off and it won't make ice. I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWatching TV on the Fridge's LCD?I saw on a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAhiHY5KtXk) - at the release of this fridge at CES - displaying the capability of watching TV (as long as you have a smart Samsung TV, is this possible? If so how? If not, why was this feature removed?

At this point in time the apps that come pre-installed on the RF4289 are the only ones that are available, and are ideally suited for the kitchen: manage the contents of your refrigerator with the Grocery Manager app; search for recipes on Epicurious or view photos from a memory card or your online Picasa photo album; check the day's weather through WeatherBug, the latest news headlines on AP News, or your family's schedule from Google Calendar; follow your favorites on Twitter or listen to them on Pandora Radio; and leave notes and reminders for yourself or your family with the Memo feature. I can't tell you whether the selection will be expanded in the future, but if it is, instructions for adding them will be made available.
