    • Answer Hello Arjle - UHD stands for Ultra High Definition or 4K TV. A regular HD TV has 2 million pixels spread across the screen, regardless of the size. A UHD/4K TV offers 8 million pixels on those same screens. LED HDR refers to High Dynamic Range with LED televisions, and HDR TVs are capable of a higher contrast ratio. LED TVs are also capable of that brighter contrast and can get brighter to achieve those better HDR contrast ratios. The 4K TU7000 introduces our Crystal Display which gives you crystal-clear colors that are fine-tuned to deliver a naturally crisp and vivid picture, and our Crystal UHD Processor, which brings stunning clarity to everything you already watch and powerfully upscales 4K to ensure that you always get life-like 4K resolution no matter the source.     • Answer There are several apps preinstalled, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Samsung Plus. Also YouTube and a couple of others. There also is the ability to download additional apps. We downloaded YouTube TV since that is what we primarily use for non-streaming services. The remote also has direct connect buttons for Netflix and Amazon.

  • QuestionI have a cabinet I want this to set on. It is 44" wide. What is the dimension of the stand? It is adjustable?

    • Answer The stand is not adjustable. The legs are V-shaped, and there is one at each end. They angle outward very slight back to front, so the spacing between the front ends of the legs is slightly larger than the back ends, and the front ends are 44.5" apart. Your 44-inch cabinet will not be big enough. I have this on a TV stand that is 48 inches long, and this is the minimum length shelf I'd want to have this TV on for safety purposes.

  • QuestionWhat does Open-Box mean?

    • Answer Open box means the product has been opened before and returned. What normally happens is either the black friday rush people return them because they couldn't sell them marked up. Or people have duplicates of the tv. People at Bestbuy do a check of everything on the product to make sure it meets the standards of near mint condition. I bought my 65 inch samsung tv open box and it was mint. The only problem was the samsung box was torn so they had to tape it and send it as open box.

    • Answer As someone who's had all 3. I would say functionality. The 5 and 6 would not work with my computer as an extra monitor. The 7 does it with ease. The 7 not only works with my PS4 but it recognizes and labels things you plug into the HDMI source. It also switches from TV mode to gaming mode automatically optimizing the tv for watching or playing. So pretty much the smart features and how easy they are to use is what sets them apart to me. 5 not so much 6 a little more and 7 much more. The 7 works with and communicates with other electronics in your house easier as well. You can sync it with Alexa and control its functions with her the 5 does not do that and I dont believe the 6 does either.

    • Answer Hi wojo, You will need to have a standalone Amazon Alexa device to utilize Alexa on your TU7000. Both your Alexa device and TV will need to be on the same WiFi network, and you will need to connect your TV via SmartThings app. Once you have the Alexa set up with your TU7000, you will be able to ask Alexa to turn the TV on, change the channel, control the volume, and more. ^Celina

  • QuestionHow large is the internal memory for downloading apps like Disney+? How many apps can be downloaded? Can you download apps to an external USB drive?

    • Answer Oscar - If the internal memory is not enough for the number of apps you would like to have at one time on the 65TU7000 you can expand the memory by using a thumb drive inserted into the USB port. ^Jason

  • QuestionWhat is the distance between the front and back points of the stand. We have a narrow surface of about 12 to 13 inches. Our 55" Samsung's stand is 11 inches.

    • Answer I’ll answer as best as I can, for I have my tv wall mounted. Fortunately I had not thrown out the original box for the television aaaand cannot find the stands. By looking at the cut out in the foam that holds the stands it looks to be closer to 12” or slightly wider. You may want to get a deeper or wider stand it will not be safe for your application. I know I could have just simply answered and after looking around the house realizing how much I really wanted to help you I couldn’t find them, although I could have tried looking up the size specs online I enjoyed typing this out all while being on lock down having something I guess fun to do. I hope I had answered your question enjoy the television, it is new and may need an update when and if you decide to get it. Take care and stay well :)
