“What does Open-Box mean?”

• Open box means the product has been opened before and returned. What normally happens is either the black friday rush people return them because they couldn't sell them marked up. Or people have duplicates of the tv. People at Bestbuy do a check of everything on the product to make sure it meets the standards of near mint condition. I bought my 65 inch samsung tv open box and it was mint. The only problem was the samsung box was torn so they had to tape it and send it as open box.

• It means buyer beware. The item may or may not be functional for you. I will never buy an open box item again unless it's really easy for me to return it to the store.
