You technically need the same size screws but you want to use the spacers provided by Samsung on the top and bottom screw holes. The bottom spacers will be flush while the top spacers will stick out a ways. You want to use size M8 / 45 mm screws on both holes. The metal mount should not touch the back of the TV but touch the spacers. This is proper and correct for the nu8000 (65inch and probably the others). This is the CORRECT way and length. Don’t use other screw sizes without spacers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue, bought a Cheetah Wallmount and none of their 3 screw lengths are long enough for the bottom 2 screw holes for a VESA 200x200. The Bestbuy rep was right saying you require M8 screws but thats not the problem. You actually need longer screws, probably 45 or 50mm screws and most likely 1.25 thread, if not 1.0 thread. M8 is only referring to the diameter of the screws not the length.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you will need m8 screws but i found out that they have to be two different lengths. i bought a new wall mount kit but quickly found out two different lengths needed for top and bottom. i call a friend that does it for a living and having him do it. best buy should at least mention that you will most likely need new hardware as most do it yourself type people are not going to have an assortment of screws for tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Samsung 58" - after spacer, washer and bracket, the bolt will thread 6-7 mm into the TV. Is that enough? 46lbs. I think max thread depth is 10 mm. Thanks for any feedback........Steve.
