I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. The most common cause of the dryer stopping before the clothes are dry is that the vent is clogged or restricted. Be sure to clean the lint trap frequently (it's a good habit to clean it after each use). Though you've had it installed only a couple of weeks, I would suggest checking the vent ducts, especially if you connected the dryer to a previously-installed venting system. Samsung dryers, like many others available now, use a powerful blower motor, so any residual lint in the vent pipe will be dislodged and could cause a restriction by collecting in bends or elbows. An easy way to determine if this is the cause is to remove the vent pipe from the back of the dryer temporarily and try drying your laundry. If the dryer runs continuously without turning off, your vent system should be replaced. If the dryer is not heating during the few minutes that it's running, it may not have sufficient power, in which case you should confirm the electrical supply is 220V, 60 hz with a 30-amp dedicated outlet or circuit breaker. If the dryer is heating but still shuts off early, then it will probably require service. If this is the case, you could contact your local Best Buy appliance team or call 888-BEST BUY for assistance; or you may call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who would be happy to help you schedule service. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Timed dry option worked for me. I was drying a quilt at the time so the system was stressed. It first shut off in two minutes on regular and heavy setting. Even after checking lint trap and vent tube! Then I tried the timed setting like mentioned earlier. Worked just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine did the same thing. It was a sensor beside the lint trap door. Just had dust on it. And now it’s clean and works fine ! They are touchy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ok heres my story: Same issue: if on "heavy dry" setting machines shuts off after 5 minutes. First the person who said to use the "timer dry" feature to over ride the issue, is correct. With that setting the machie runs on the timer and power setting of your choice uninterupted. BUT I still wanted to fix the issue not just find a work around. I took a damp cloth with soap, wiped down the moisture sensor bars that are inside the drum, wiped them dry. And presto! The "Heavy dry" setting works corectly again. And yes we will stop using dryer sheets that tend to effect the moisture sensor bars. thanks guys!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My dryer does this if the "wrinkle prevent" button is turned on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The moisture sensors aren’t clean and are very sensitive. There’s a bunch of YouTube videos online for how to clean these. Just cleaning the lint trap isn’t enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just had my new dryer, a Samsung installed and they bent the dryer duct hose so air would not flow thru it correctly if at all, I’d check that, had to throw it away and side my old one they bent it up so bad, waste of money and the installers I had for the washer and dryer were terrible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is doing the same thing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drying technology
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is a very bad advice. It stopping has nothing to do with cleaning anything. It stops because u didn’t chose the rack dry option on the display. You turn to the “time dry” option and than click on the rack dry option, and it will keep drying until time runs out.
