Normal setting has wet sensors and it will turn off if the setting is on less dry or if the garments no longer feel wet. I tend to use quick dry more because it doesn’t go by the dryers “sensors” and runs until it reaches the allotted time. To use timer settings it has to be on quick dry and select time to dry. I don’t know about phone diagnostics, I haven’t tried it with the dryer but know it’s useless with the washer so I doubt I’ll bother.
