    • Answer Unlocked means......If you buy your phone for example from Verizon, or sprint, their phone will come locked and they will charge you to have them unlock them even if you a already a customer. They need to do this in order to set up your phone. If you buy your phone from lets say Best Buy they will come already unlocked. Then all you have to do is bring your phone to a provider like Verizon or Sprint, (and you are a customer already) they will set that phone up with no charge

  • QuestionCould A10e be used to listen to radio from speaker (not ear plug)?

    • Answer I verified that A10e phone allowed me to listen to local FM radio stations directly without WiFi, without cellular network. I downloaded free NextRadio app and plugged in ear phone. The ear phone wires act as antenna to receive radio signals. You can listen from ear phone. In the app, you can set “output to speaker”, then you can listen to phone speaker. No need to pair with Bluetooth, no internet is required, no phone minutes are used. Phone battery lasts much longer than streaming radio from internet. All these are possible since the phone has a built-in radio chip. This feature is not mentioned in the user manual. Some phone representatives in store do not know about it. In case of emergency when power is out, WiFi is not available. If cellular network is also out, FM radio is an alternate to listen to emergency announcement and information. Samsung J7 phone and other Samsung phones should have this feature. Apple phones do not.

    • Answer It is not a galaxy series. It's a low end Samsung phone model A Series. Galaxy is a style type. Same company different model series like cars have.

    • Answer No. Don't do it and expect to be able to use it on a regular Verizon plan. The SIM card has to be recoded. It can be done but it's hard to find anyone who knows how to do it. Verizon Wireless will tell you it can be done & to go to a store and they will do it but when you go to the store, no one knows how to do it. I went to a few stores & finally found someone. It was a pain in the neck. Verizon said it only needed a new SIM card but that wasn't true. It's really only meant for prepaid calling. It works fine for Verizon prepaid calling. A few Verizon services are missing if you switch it to a regular Verizon plan. Tracfone does not work international at all even when recoded to work on a reg Verizon service. Not even Canada. It might work sporadically in Toronto but we never found a spot where it did. Buy a Verizon Samsung Galaxy A10e unlocked if you want reg Verizon service. Buy Verizon Tracfone if you want Verizon prepaid service.
