A:Answer This is the current Generation Alpha Product released by Samsung. Unfortunately, they do not advertise their Alpha line as much as the Flex and Pro Lines of Ultrabooks they make, and this unit was more of a silent drop on Samsung and BestBuys website at the beginning of May with a May 14th release date. But, yes to answer your question this Flex 2 Alpha is far more superior to the Samsung Ion Product Line.
