The Manual also mentions many times to only use the Included DC charger. I imagine their overcharge protection hardware is only connected to the DC port which would mean USB Charging would not be an option on this release. Maybe future releases but not this one. USB does not change AC to DC on its own and adding the hardware would alter the design too much and create a lot of heat. Other laptops that do have USB Charging don't normally include the conversation hardware in the unit and instead have the voltage converter block in the middle of the charging cord that comes with it. Although it's not what you want, not having USB charging is actually beneficial, by removing heat and making it so that you can't damage the hardware with third-party or mobile chargers, and extending the longevity of the device. Also, it's a safety measure. If the conversion hardware was inside the unit and it surged/died your device would fry and your hard drive (SSD) would most likely go with it. Meaning the loss of all your files. Use only Samsung-approved AC adapters, batteries, and cables. Unapproved adapters or cables can cause the battery to explode or damage the computer. Left Side of Unit: Port 1. DC jack • This jack connects to the AC adapter to supply power to the computer. Port 2. HDMI port • Used to connect an HDMI cable to an external device. Port 3. USB Type-C port • This port allows to charge USB Type-C devices or to connect external display devices. Port 4. Earpiece/Headset jack • Connect an earpiece or a headset to the computer to listen to audio.
