• Its a expensive sound bar. Why would you want to ruin it using it outside if it rains or you spill beverage on it,

• It depends on what you mean by covered. I would not recommend as this soundbar is not rated for outdoor use. There is no protection from moisture. However, if you want to use it anyway and you are confident the area will be protected from the elements, it may work but will probably have a shortened lifespan and probably void your warranty.
