Does this have a spin speed of 7200 RPM? null

It’s a Solid State Drive (SSD), there are no moving parts. I will say that it does have lightning fast read and write speeds. Backed up about 700gigs in about 20 mins.

20 mins is a good speed, but it takes two to tango. So your source disk must have been an SSD as well.
