• because its a crummy product. mine did the same thing, the flexible neck it too weak, and beaks after only a few weeks of use.

• Maybe the fuse blew out on your 12volt outlet. That happens relatively often. Test the outlet by plugging something else into it. If it fails to power up, the fuse is likely blown. Take it to a mechanic to replace the fuse. They shouldn't charge you more than $10 to do it. If it isn't the fuse, there could be a fault in the outlet or the BT device could have failed.
