- Answer Hold down on your right skip button and it controls the volume of the Bluetooth! I just sat here for 15 mins trynna figure it out and I got it ! Lol

QuestionMy phone pairs with the transmitter but it won’t play through the car radio. It is set on same station but there is only static?

- Answer On the instructions is says you’re able to change the song and the volume level. If you click it once you can turn it all the way to the right and it turns the volume up. Make sure it’s not set on changing the music. I’m not even sure how mine got turned down but it did! Took me forever to figure it out.

QuestionIs there any way to turn off the device without unplugging it from the AC power outlet? My van will keep it on while the vehicle is not running. I'm not seeing an option in the manual.

- Answer Not sure if it helps anyone else since it's an old post, but if you rotate the device about a half turn, it'll turn off. I always turn mine to where it faces up and it turns off. When it get in, I straighten it out again and it turns on. Works every time.

QuestionWhat kind of fuse goes in to the transmitter

- Answer Mine has a fuse in the cigarette lighting receptical (? the plug for the lighter socket) and the fuse size is F2AL250V. Im in the process of putting in a new one, this one seems to have burned out because its no longer playing music audibly even though it says its connected.

- Answer I have the same issue. I called Scosch Tech Support and they said unless your 12v outlet powers off when your ignition is off, you will have to unplug the device each time you want to pair. There is no workaround. Where my plug sits in my center console, this is very inconvenient. I will probably return it, assuming I can find another device that does better. For others: If your 12 Volt outlett turns OFF when your ignition is OFF, this won't be a huge issue for you.

QuestionI’ve had this device now for a few months and no problems up until yesterday. It just stopped playing music. My BT is on and the channels are matched and it says it’s stereaming. But there is no sound coming from it. Any ideas?

- Answer Just happened to me, use the remote that it came with and turn the volume up on the transmitter, that should fix it

- Answer You can connect media via bluetooth (so your phone if it has the app), and whatever you play on your phone it will play via the device onto a selected radio station. I linked my phone via Bluetooth and all audio from Pandora to small videos on Facebook to phone calls and Youtube come through just fine. It is capable of streaming iheart radio and anything else you have in your phone.

QuestionI had a previous device that every time I entered my car would connect and start playing some random song from my phone. It was annoying as it would even do it if I was speaking on the phone when it connected. Does this device do the same?

- Answer I have recently purchased this device. I am not tech savvy I don’t have it connected thru my car radio yet only the Bluetooth on my phone. I haven’t had that issue. I unplug it from car lighter each time I get out of car. Yes that means I have to reconnect when I get back in but I don’t mind b/c I don’t keep my Bluetooth on my phone on unless I am using it for something.

QuestionMy device will only work wheni have radio tuned to paired station. I have set that station as a preset and once my phone rings I can switch to paired station then talk througn btfreq. A bit combersome any thoughts out there?

- Answer My phone connects to BT when I enter the car for the purpose of phone calls. If I am listening to Pandora from my phone, I need to select the BT device as the source for music, but any directions I am getting from my GPS on the phone broadcasts over the phone so that I can hear both. If I do not select BT as a radio source, I can get the radio station and my GPS thru my phone and when the phone rings, my vehicle automatically asks if I want it switched over (Ford My Sync system)

- Answer Does not work great at all when using your phone microphone sucks person on other end cannot hear what your saying. Not a great Bluetooth product at all wouldn't recommend it

- Answer This device receives audio from your phone via Bluetooth and broadcasts it over a low power FM transmitter on a frequency of your choice to your car stereo. You need an FM radio to use this device. If your phone has an FM receiver, you could send the signal through this device to your car stereo but why would you do it? The phone and the stereo likely are going to pick up the same stations.

QuestionI am using the Aux Output instead of FM to connect to my cars stereo. Can I turn the FM transmitter off and only use the Aux Out? (Cause there are some Crackling noises coming over the Aux cable , due to the FM function that vary with engine rpm)

- Answer Actually the crackling is being caused by your alternator and the DC current being used. Could try a shielded cable, but most likely will hear some interference.

- Answer The fm transmitter has a microphone so why cant they hear you? maybe the phone microphone is being used as default, or something been overlooked in an audio setting somewhere, currently trying to solve it also.
