Q: QuestionCan this be left on the charging base when not in use without overcharging? No one at the local Best Buy could tell me.

• A:Answer Thanks to all who responded. I ended up calling Shark. They said it should NOT be left on the charger as it is a Ni-Cad battery and it will affect the life span. Following her suggestion, I ran the battery down, put it on the charger and timed how long it took to reach full charge. I bought a cheap indoor timer and set it to turn on for that amount of hours. That way I don't have to keep checking to see if it's charged and unplug it.

• A:Answer It's basically a tapered tube that slides into the end. All attachments, (beater bar, edge tool, brush), slide in the same. It's not as long and narrow as the crevice tool that you normally see, so you can't get into deep areas like next to the driver's seat, but it works for me!

• A:Answer Hello, We would like you to know that the filter can be accessed by removing the dust cup. We also want you to know that the filter is washable by rinsing it under warm tap water (no soap) until the water comes through clean. Once this is done, give them a light shake to get rid of any excess water, and then let them air dry for at least 24 hours. We recommend doing this once every 3 months. Q: QuestionMotorized brush on handheld unit does not spin under pressure, but spins well without pressure. Had it apart a few times to put belt back on motor. Very poor design. Vacuum works great, but threw the power head in the garbage.
