• It can be - adjustable, but I would say it is as comparable to Roomba in sound - though with that said this is a much better bot vacuum than the I7. Only the S9 was better

• Its quieter than an upright vacuum cleaner. I am not sure if it is quieter than a I7. In all of the reviews that I watch on YouTube, the Shark IQ had the most suction.

• It’s a vacuum if it’s going to have good suction it will be a little loud. We run ours at night and it doesn’t wake us up. We don’t think it’s terribly loud but you might. I will say it does a good job of cleaning

• I have an older roomba, and this one is equally loud. This one has 3 settings , so it can get a little louder or a little quieter. But when it empties itself? Forget hearing the tv, it’s LOUD!
