“Does this work on sliding doors and sliding windows?”

• Yes. It is fastened with double back tape or small screws which are supplied. One side fastens to an unmovable part and the other to the sliding part. They have to be within 2 inches when closed. I even have one on my overhead garage door. We have used simplisafe for years and are very pleased with the system.

• Yes, I have one on the slider. The battery part is on the frame and I put the magnet on the door, both at the top.
