As long as you have a signal (wifi,3G,4G, LTE) you can watch anything off of your cable service at home. Works awesome. I'm a truck driver. When I get a break I pull out my iPad and watch TV. The only thing I didn't like was an addition $15 for an app. Other then that it works as described and I love it.

The sling player will get the picture to phone or tablet, but connection speed and strength will be crucial. The quality will not be great either going through cell towers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Slingbox will connect to your home cable/satellite box or DVR and stream live or recorded content through the internet. There are no monthly fees and it will work anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection and a laptop, smartphone, tablet or connected device such as a Roku or AppleTV. To watch from your motorhome you can use your tablet, smartphone, or laptop and connect them to the TV with an audio/video cable, or with an AppleTV or Roku to get the best possible picture quality. However, it won't work if the place you are camping does not have WiFi access.
